Charming stay with thoughtful touches

I absolutely adored the delightful decor of our room and the natural, aromatic toiletries. The cozy fireplace added a lovely ambiance. The well-lit grounds were inviting, and having a restaurant on-site was a bonus. A visual map of the property would enhance the experience even more!

The staff was great, personable.

The staff were amicable and welcoming day and night. The pool was heated and I had hot drinks in the main bar.

Rooms are spacious and clean, enhancing the overall experience.

Impeccably clean hotel, greatly enjoyed to be not far from a restaurant with decent reviews, the hopes Apple Farm will correct course and a creek with lots of flowering plants thanks to amazing location. Could be great for short stay

The king room was surprisingly spacious, featuring a cozy seating area by a charming bay window. The vintage decor created a warm, inviting ambiance. While the bed was comfortable, the heater was quite loud, disrupting the tranquility. The bathroom was clean but basic, and the cold tile floors were a bit uncomfortable. With the sink located in the bedroom area, the layout felt cramped alongside the wardrobe that housed the TV. The fireplace offered ambiance but shut off too quickly.

Lots of food at the amazing breakfast.

Perfect match for a short layover in San Luis Obispo with definitely value for money. The staff was very attentive.

The heating system in the room was efficient and kept us warm on chilly evenings, but unfortunately, the air conditioning unit was faulty and emitted a foul odor when turned on. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities provided, as they allowed us to enjoy a warm drink in the comfort of our room. The sitting area was cozy, but the four-poster bed obstructed the view of the TV from certain angles, which was a bit inconvenient. The room had a musty smell upon returning from a day out, possibly due to poor ventilation in the bathroom or mildew in the AC unit. While the carpeted floors added a touch of coziness, they could use replacing as they appeared dirty in some areas. On the bright side, the amenities fee was waived due to the broken aircon/heater, and the staff kindly provided instructions on how to use the fireplace. The complimentary welcome drink at the marketplace was a nice touch, and the garden furniture outside was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings.

I had marvellous breakfast. Had reasonably large and newly decorated room complete with a fireplace and a private soaking tub, as for instance. The location of the hotel was magnificent - not too far from Cuesta Canyon County Park.

Some aspects of the stay could be improved, such as the room being a bit cramped, especially in certain areas like the bathroom sink and the space around the bed. there were some minor inconveniences, such as delays during check-in and issues with noisy room heaters.

The room at Trellis Court was a bit cramped with a noisy wall heater and dated carpet. However, the cozy ambiance, lovely Christmas decorations, and excellent breakfast made up for it. The property had great amenities like a pool, hot tub, and wine tasting. Overall, a comfortable stay with convenient freeway access and nearby dining options.

Wonderful location, the breakfast was marvellous with sausage.

Delicious breakfast options including sausage that pleased everyone. Convenient location close to restaurants, the Amtrak station, and easy to get around. Plus, there's a restaurant nearby for more dining options! 🍳.

It was very good the way it had everything set up. Also having shops on the premises and lovely gardens was another nice feature. Meals were nice, although I would suggest you get breakfast in your room, as it is impossible to get in for breakfast in the mornings. Our air conditioner was very noisy, but we had windows to open which was good. Linen a bit dated, needed refurbishing, other than that all was really good.
